The international break gives the lads a chance to look at how Klopp 2.0 is shaping up and whether the sequel can top the blockbuster original, we'll analyse THAT Jordan Horrenderson interview and preview the Wolves game on Saturday.
Chris Smith is joined by Dave Usher and Paul Natton to take some listener questions on the heartbreaking Liverpool games we could do-over, non-LFC players we'd have loved to see in the famous red, and United and Everton players we'd take if forced. We also give the current squad the infamous Brendan Rodgers 'envelope test', and pick the perfect LFC front three for the current side.

Sunday Sep 03, 2023
Sunday Sep 03, 2023
The Reds made it 10 points from 12 with an impressively dominant display to see off Aston Villa at Anfield and head into the international break just two points off top spot.
Chris Smith is joined by Paul Natton and TLW Editor Dave Usher to look back on a highly enjoyable afternoon in which all areas of the side functioned superbly. Other subjects covered include the Ryan Gravenberch signing, the Mo Salah speculation and how the lads rated the transfer window as a whole. Plus Dave educates Chris and Paul as to why that second goal today should be credited to his boy Darwin and not a Matty Cash own goal.

Monday Aug 28, 2023
Darwin Nunez came off the bench late on and produced two stunning finishes to give the Reds the most dramatic and unlikely of victories at St James after a wild game packed with incident.
Chris Smith is joined by Paul Natton, John Gallagher and TLW Editor Dave Usher to discuss one of the most dramatic games of the Klopp era. Lots to get through including Trent's nightmare first half, Virgil's red card, some bizarre decisions by Jurgen in the first half followed by some inspired ones in the second. And of course Dave takes a victory lap after his boy came good. He's a peacock, you've gotta let him fly!

Saturday Aug 19, 2023

Goals from Luis Diaz, Mo Salah and Diogo Jota helped the Reds overcome a ropey start and a disgraceful refereeing decision that saw Alexis Mac Allister sent off on his home debut against Bournemouth.
TLW Editor Dave Usher and Paul Natton hotfooted it back from Anfield to record this chat about the game, the sensational performance from Dom Szoboszlai and last week's surprise signing of Japan captain Wataru Endo.

Chelsea 1 Liverpool 1 - Match Reaction and Caicedo chat
Monday Aug 14, 2023
Monday Aug 14, 2023
The season is officially underway and yet again we've drawn with Chelsea. A bright start saw us take the lead with a lovely Luis Diaz goal but sloppy defending from a set-piece let Chelsea back into it and the longer the game went the less likely the Reds looked like winning.
TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined for this one by Ian Brown and Julian Richards as the lads look back on the game and then get stuck into the Caicedo saga and try to make sense of what happened.

Wednesday Aug 09, 2023

Another new season is upon us after a summer of change. Not enough change for many though, as we head into the opening game at Stamford Bridge having made just two signings while seeing six senior squad members depart.
Chris Smith is joined by Ian Brown, Dan Thomas and TLW Editor Dave Usher to discuss the transfer business - or lack of - as well as what we're expecting to see tactically from the team this year. Who will play up front? How special is Ben Doak? Does this new system work without Trent? How big a problem is the number six position and just what exactly does Jorg Schmadtke actually do?
All of that plus predictions from all of the podcast regulars as we get you ready for the big kick off this weekend.

Jordan Henderson has joined the Saudi league
Thursday Jul 27, 2023
Thursday Jul 27, 2023
The captain has deserted the ship. Jordan Henderson is no longer a Red after ending his stellar 12 year stay at Anfield in ignominious fashion by joining Steven Gerrard at *checks notes* Al Ettifaq.
Hendo's former number one fan Chris Smith is joined by Julian Richards, Stu Montagu and TLW Editor Dave Usher as the lads share their thoughts on a move that a month ago seemed unthinkable.
The conversation then broadens out to include what should now happen with the captaincy, Fabinho's impending departure and how many players do we need to bring in to fill the void. Plus there's a bit on the pre-season action as Dave and Jules clash yet again over Darwin Nunez.

The Reds have completed their second signing of the summer as exciting Hungarian Dominik Szoboszlai became the latest player to join from RB Leipzig.

Southampton 4 Liverpool 4 - Match Reaction
Sunday May 28, 2023
Sunday May 28, 2023
A fitting way to end a season of disappointment, as despite leading 2-0 the Reds were held to a 4-4 by an already relegated Southampton side.
Jota scored twice, Gakpo also found the net and Bobby signed off with a goal on his farewell appearance, but defensively it was a horror show and Kelleher didn't make the most of a rare starting opportunity in goal.
Chris Smith is joined by Julian Richards and TLW Editor Dave Usher to recap a crazy game at St Mary's and to also take a look at events elsewhere. Specifically at Goodison where the Blues performed their annual escape act, much to Dave's disgust and frustration.
