What a difference a week makes. From the high of Old Trafford to the low of being outplayed at home by Brighton. Having led 2-0 it feels like two points dropped, but perhaps we should be thankful to even pick up a point given the way Brighton performed in the second half.

After the Lord Mayor's Show! The Reds advanced to the last eight of the League Cup with an uninspiring win at Deepdale thanks to goals from Minamino and Origi but it was quite the comedown from the high of Old Trafford. 

Chris Smith is joined by TLW Editor Dave Usher to have a brief chat about the Preston game before diving straight back in to the incredible humiliation of United last Sunday. The lads also look ahead to a potentially tricky fixture at Anfield this weekend against the high flying Seagulls of Brighton.

5-0 at Old Trafford!!! Yes, that actually happened. It was billed as Salah v Ronaldo but it wasn't even a contest as the Egyptian King carried on his incredible run of form with a hat-trick to leave United broken and humiliated.

Holy shit! A potential trap game turned into a walk in the park as the Reds' front three ran riot at Vicarage Road against a Watford side who didn't know what had hit them.
