Liverpool 1 Aston Villa 1 - Match Reaction

Not what we were hoping for from the final home game. Bobby got a goal on his Anfield farewell but hopes of a top four finish are dead in the water after Villa pooped the party with some horrendous shithousing, ably assisted by a referee with a score to settle.

Liverpool 1 Brentford 0 - Match Reaction

A second 1-0 home win this week as once again the Reds edged over the line thanks to a Mo Salah strike, this one being his 100th at Anfield.

Five wins on the bounce but once again it was hardly convincing. Mo Salah won it with a first half penalty but then very little happened. Still, a win is a win and we've not had anywhere enough of those this season.

One of the wildest games in many a year, as the Reds raced out to a 3-0 lead inside 15 minutes but then lost their way and were eventually pegged back by a last minute equaliser, only for Diogo Jota to dramatically win it seconds later.

West Ham 1 Liverpool 2 - Match Reaction

A decent performance, another three points and a second consecutive away win for the Reds. Things are looking up at long last.

It wasn't pretty but it was three points. Another double for the resurgent Jota and a winner from Salah, but there wasn't much else to like about this.

Six of the best from the Reds as the lads finally managed to find their shooting boots away from home. Jota's goal drought is over, Salah, Gakpo and Nunez also found the net and Trent impressed again in his new role.
